Charley's is my favorite mall food at Penn Square. Don't be afraid of the long line, it goes really quickly! And after all, when it comes to mall food, you want to eat where the lines are long and the food is fresh. They will often have an employee taking orders out front to speed up the process.
As far as food goes, their Philly steak and chicken sandwiches are all great. I don't usually get their fries, just because the regular sandwich is big enough, but their fries are pretty good too. I love their blueberry lemonade. You watch them cook the food on the flat top grill in front of you, and it's always steaming hot and delicious. -

This is my first time eating here at Charley's Steakery. I got the Chicken California, a side of regular fries, and a blueberry lemonade. Everything was fast and quick which is a plus for me. The people were very polite and the service was very amazing. The sandwich itself was tasty and crispy. The chicken was smooth and cooked well and those fries man, they were some of the best fries I have ever had. The lemonade is what got me, I was iffy on the blueberry lemonade but it was so amazing and sweet. It wasn't too sweet but just the perfect amount of sweetness. I will be back!!!

Great option for mall food at Penn! The sandwiches are made fresh and the menu has many tempting variations of the Philly steak sandwich!

The people who took my order, friends orders, barely spoke English and then proceeded to get my all of our orders wrong. 4 orders. Wrong. I am a vegetarian, ordered the only vegetarian option, and they put steak in it. I would not recommend this, not even to my worst enemy.
